Ingredients
- 2 whole onions, sliced (not chopped)
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 2-4 ounces cheddar or your favorite cheese
- 3 tbsp bread crumbs
Instructions
- 1. Slice the onions thinly into discs as if you were preparing to make onion rings, resulting in flat, circular onion layers.2. Lay out the onion discs on your baking tray.3. Pour the oil/butter over the onions.4. Lay down a layer of your cheddar or other favorite flavorful cheese.5. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the cheese onions.6.
